• Gauls: The Gauls are always present opposite of Hannibal. Sometimes allies, sometimes enemies.
• Allobroges: The Allobroges of the plain helped Hannibal, while those of the mountains tried in vain to block his way.
• Volcae: Celtic and Iberian culture, Hannibal met them on both sides of the Rhône.
• Cavari: they lived around Ventoux area, they were allies of Massalia and Rome.
• Vocontii: allies of Rome.

Hannibal's army was heavily harassed by these peoples with significant losses.
